Sound Beginnings Family Education and Support
The Sound Beginnings Family Program provides educational, social, and emotional support for parents and families. Each session is designed to address needs of individuals just learning about hearing loss, and those who have more experience. The program is scheduled during the school year in the multi-purpose room at Sound Beginnings.
Parents' Night Out– Thursday evenings (once a month)
- 5:30 pm–6:00 pm: Light dinner and social time
- 6:00 pm–7:30 pm: Partnership and collaboration time
Sábados Latinos - Saturday evening (once a month)
- 5:30 pm–6:00 pm: Light dinner and social time
- 6:00 pm–7:30 pm: Partnership and collaboration time
The Thursdays' sessions are in English, with available Spanish interpreters. Saturdays' sessions are given in Spanish.
All family members are welcome to come! The Family Education and Support Program is also open to the community!
