Our Philosophy
Our goal is to partner with parents in a family-centered practice to help their children with hearing loss reach their full potential. We believe that this happens through collaborative relationships with families, professionals and the community. Sound Beginnings is invested in not only serving the children of today, but also working to train professionals to help tomorrow’s children with hearing loss reach their full potential.

"Now that I’ve been involved with the program for over 4 years, I can definitely say that Sound Beginnings has changed me for the better. I've gained so much knowledge. I am confident in my ability to help my children succeed and now I actually feel like I'm one of those experienced moms, who knew what they were talking about and because of that I can be an advocate for my children. So, for those of you that are just starting out and feeling overwhelmed, I totally get it, but just keep at it. Sound Beginnings is wonderful and with their teaching tools you'll soon be amazed at everything you know."

Valerie Merrell

"We can’t say enough great things about the Sound Beginnings program. It’s a fun learning environment where my son felt loved and accepted while he attended. The program gave him self-confidence and taught him coping skills. It prepared him academically as well as socially to join the local mainstream elementary school. We are forever grateful for this program and all who are associated with it!"
